No rest for the weary in the Stanley Cup playoffs, and you have to think the Florida Panthers and New York Islanders are weary after a barn burner of a Game 1. Puck drop Game 2 is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday.

Scouting the Islanders
John Tavares was the catalyst for everything the Islanders did in their 5-4 win in Game 1. It was his first three-point playoff game in his career, and he factored on every big goal his team scored. Thomas Greiss will get the start in net again for the Islanders. Jaroslav Halak's backup gave up four goals but locked things down late to keep his team ahead. It'll be interesting to see which Greiss we get on Friday.
Scouting the Panthers
Florida should take solace in the fact they racked up four goals on the Islanders and were highly competitive up until the very end of the game. They made Greiss make 42 saves, for goodness' sake. That's nothing to shrug at. But they'll need a better night in net from Roberto Luongo and a tighter penalty kill if they want to avoid a 2-0 series hole.
