Very much like Game 1, the Blues and Blackhawks played to a scoreless game for much of their time together. This time, the goaltenders weren't the story, or even any one player. It was two key reviews that went the way of the Blackhawks that were the deciding factor in their 3-2 victory.
Blackhawks vs. Blues 2016 final score: Key reviews go the way of Chicago in 3-2 victory
The Blackhawks stole a win from the Blues and even the series at 1-1.

A scoreless first period that saw nine combined shots gave way to the series first regulation goal in the middle frame. After 35 minutes of 0-0 play, Vladimir Tarasenko finally proved that yes, these two teams can score in regulation. A defensive zone turnover from the Blackhawks with five minutes to go in the second kicked out to Jaden Schwartz, who made the open ice pass to Tarasenko for the 1-0 lead.
Newly returned from a six game suspension, Duncan Keith made an immediate difference in the Blackhawks lineup. The defenseman ended the game with two points and Chicago's first goal of the match with five seconds left in the middle period that tied the game at 1-1.
A back and forth third period looked to benefit the Blues as Tarasenko seemingly scored his second goal of the game. However, the goal was called off after a lengthy review after it was determined St. Louis was offside on the play by the slimmest margin possible.
The Blackhawks pushed on an ensuing power play and got the tie-breaking 2-1 goal from Andrew Shaw. The play was reviewed by the officials first and was ruled a goal. Then, St. Louis challenged for goaltender interference and there was not enough evidence to turn the goal over.
Chicago got one final tally on an empty net, which was crucial as Kevin Shattenkirk had a literal last second goal off an offensive zone face off, as the Blackhawks split their away games against the Blues to even the series at 1-1.
