Injuries and a lack of depth cost the Minnesota Wild in Game 1, and they'll be looking for marked improvement across the board when they take on the Dallas Stars in Game 2 of their Stanley Cup playoffs first round series. The puck will drop at 8 p.m. ET Saturday in Dallas on NBCSN.
Wild vs. Stars, NHL playoffs 2016: Time, TV schedule and how to watch live online
Tyler Seguin returns for Dallas while the Wild are still undermanned.

Scouting the Wild
Minnesota is still without Zach Parise and Thomas Vanek, two key offensive threats that leave a huge hole to fill. Despite getting banged up in Game 1, winger Erik Haula skated on Friday. Goalie Devan Dubnyk did not skate, but if he's healthy he'll get the start again after a tremendous effort in a Game 1 loss. Minnesota must manage its turnovers much better in Game 2 to avoid a 2-0 deficit to the Western Conference's best team.
Scouting the Stars
Tyler Seguin is back. After missing a month with a partially torn Achilles tendon, the Stars' top center skated on Friday and is expected to get the start in Game 2. Since Colton Sceviour played well in Game 1, winger Val Nichushkin will most likely be a healthy scratch to make room for Seguin. Kari Lehtonen will probably get the start in net again; he's 7-1 in his last nine starts with a 1.76 goals-against average, .932 save percentage, and two shutouts.
