The Philadelphia Flyers head back home for Game 3 against the Washington Capitals on Monday looking to avoid the gloomy prospect of a 3-0 series deficit. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Capitals vs. Flyers, 2016 NHL playoffs: Time, TV schedule and live stream

Scouting the Capitals
Washington's bread and butter this series has been their special teams. They're scoring at an absurd 37.5 percent clip on the power play, and their penalty kill hasn't conceded a single goal in two games. And after his 40-save performance in Game 2, Capitals goalie Braden Holtby leads the NHL playoffs with a .984 save percentage. So the game plan is simple: let Holtby frustrate the increasingly desperate Flyers into mistakes and then capitalize on the man advantage.
Scouting the Flyers
You’d forgive the Flyers for losing a little bit of hope as the series heads back to Philadelphia. They can’t find ways to score, even though each game has been within at least a goal into the third period. If Steve Mason can put his Game 2 gaffe behind him and the Flyers can figure out how to get pucks past Holtby, they have a chance to turn the series around.
