Down 3-1 in the first round of the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs, the New York Rangers will try to stave off elimination in Game 5 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Saturday matinee will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

Scouting the Rangers

This team just needs to get away from New York. The Rangers have been outscored 18-3 in five straight playoff losses at home. New York got Ryan McDonagh back the last two games, but that hasn't stopped Pittsburgh from carving them up in the offensive zone. The Rangers have just seven goals in four games. Only the Philadelphia Flyers have fewer.

Scouting the Penguins

Pittsburgh has their eyes set on a juicy second-round matchup with the Washington Capitals, but first they need to take care of business at home. The Penguins' depth has overwhelmed the Rangers in this series, and Pittsburgh has been able to survive without starter Marc-Andre Fleury through four games. Pittsburgh's 36.8 percent power play clip is second in the league.
