Predators vs. Ducks 2016 final score: Anaheim makes Nashville pay for mistakes in Game 5 win
The Ducks have won three straight games.

The series heads back to Nashville for Game 6. The Ducks lead the series, 3-2, after losing the series’ first two games..
After a scoreless first period compounded by three failed Anaheim power plays, the Predators struck first with five minutes left in the second period. Colin Wilson (Nashville's leading scorer in the series) dished to Ryan Johansen, who lifted a nifty backhand shot over Frederik Andersen's shoulder for a 1-0 Predators lead.
It lasted less than a minute. The Ducks set up in the offensive zone and fired a shot toward the net that bounced off a Predator and fluttered into the net. Ducks winger Ryan Garbutt factored in again a few minutes later, when he scored a goal that may or may not have been legal depending on who you root for in this series.
The Ducks piled on in the third period. Sami Vatanen extended Anaheim's lead at 8:34 off a pass from Jakob Silfverberg. Nashville made it a game with a goal from Miikka Salomaki a few minutes later, but their penchant for penalties finally undid them late in the period. Mike Ribeiro went off to the box and Cam Fowler made them pay with a goal that restored Anaheim's two-goal lead.
Ryan Kesler’s empty-net goal ensured a 5-2 win and a series lead.
