Penguins player leaves three Capitals in the dust with a terrific deke

Quite a way to get your team on the board.

By the time Nick Bonino and Ben Lovejoy scampered into the offensive zone midway through Game 1, the Pittsburgh Penguins hadn’t mounted much of an offensive on the Washington Capitals’ net.

Then Bonino broke the game wide open. The Penguins forward rushed two Capitals defenders, looked like he was going to split them and then deked the other way to set up Pittsburgh’s first goal.

That woke the whole building up, as the Penguins took the lead, conceded it and then tussled with the Capitals within minutes of Bonino’s great play.
