The New York Rangers will most likely be without one of their grinders as the playoffs begin next week after Tanner Glass earned an ejection on Tuesday.
Tanner Glass ejected for violent high hit on Tampa Bay Lightning forward
Glass may miss some playoff time.

Late in the first period, Tampa Bay Lightning winger Vladislav Namestnikov fired the puck into the offensive zone from center ice. He didn't see that Glass was curling in behind him, and got clipped up high by Glass from his blindside:

Namestnikov was helped to the locker room. Glass was given a five-minute major for interference (since the hit came after Namestnikov had relinquished possession of the puck) and a game misconduct.
If the NHL Department of Player Safety chooses to issue supplemental discipline in this case, it will be the first suspension or fine of Glass’ career.
