Evgeni Malkin essentially guarantees a Penguins win in Game 6

Evgeni Malkin might've just created his own Mark Messier moment. Only less emphatically.

Messier became part of hockey lore when he famously guaranteed his New York Rangers would beat the New Jersey Devils in Game 6 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Final. They did, and won the series.

And now it's Malkin's turn, the morning after a Game 5 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning that put the Penguins on the verge of elimination:

Malkin: "I believe in my team. I believe in myself. We're coming back to Pittsburgh (for Game 7) for sure."
