Stars vs. Blues 2016 live stream: Game time, TV schedule and how to watch NHL playoffs online

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

After an overtime win to tie the series over the weekend, the St. Louis Blues return home on Tuesday to host the Dallas Stars in Game 3. Puck drop is at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Scouting the Stars

Guess what? Dallas has a goaltending problem. Again. After finishing the Minnesota Wild series strong, Kari Lehtonen gave up three goals on five shots to the Blues and got pulled in Game 2. Antti Niemi performed admirably in his stead, but it's anyone's guess as to who will start and finish Game 3. The good news for Dallas is they proved they can break down a Blues' lead late in games, an important confidence booster.

Scouting the Blues

St. Louis continues to prove it has the edge in both special teams and goaltending in the series. The Blues scored twice on the power play in Game 3, and Brian Elliott was steady with 26 saves. St. Louis heads home with most of the momentum.
