Predators vs. Sharks, 2016 NHL playoffs: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Game 5

How to watch Game 5 between Nashville and San Jose.

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

Hopefully both sides got plenty of rest after the thrilling triple overtime game that went the way of the Predators in Game 4. Now, the series is tied 2-2 as San Jose gets another crack at Nashville, as puck drop is scheduled for Game 5 at 10 p.m. EST on NBCSN.

Scouting the Predators

After being down 2-0 in the series, the Predators bounced back favorably against the league's best road team. Pekka Rinne has shrugged off his down regulation year as is playing some really fantastic hockey that has kept the Predators alive in this series. Though they were held off on the power play in all five attempts in Game 4, the stingy defense was able to allow just one goal to the deadly Sharks offense on the man advantage.

Scouting the Sharks

San Jose will have to work harder than they were expecting to in this series with the fight the Predators have shown. The Sharks have had more than a few lazy starts in this series, and it came back to hurt them in Nashville. The Predators have all of the momentum, but a home San Jose crowd might be just what the Sharks need to spark them back in this series. San Jose’s best scorers have been quieter thanks to Nashville’s defense, but they seemed primed for a breakthrough in such a pivotal game.
