When a legend like Gordie Howe passes away during his sport’s championship series, you know that a tear-jerking tribute is in order.
NHL, Sharks honor Gordie Howe with touching tribute video during Game 6
The hockey legend passed away on Friday.

The Detroit Red Wings legend and hockey ambassador passed away on Friday at the age of 88, the morning after the San Jose Sharks extended the Stanley Cup Final with a Game 5 win. The NHL had to wait a few more days for an in-game tribute, but it was well worth it.
Before the second period of Game 6 in San Jose, the Sharks showed this video in Mr. Hockey’s honor.
