Panthers unveil new logos, jerseys to usher in new era in Florida
Florida has had the same primary logo since their inception in 1993.

For the past 23 years, the Panthers have kept their leaping cat logo and relatively the same jersey lineup. It’s a set that’s served them well, but much like their changes up front, the Panthers are preparing a new look for a team poised to make some big strides in years to come.
We’ve actually known about the logo change for a few months now, as a leak back in April gave us a look at the new shield. At least they did better than my alma matter did at creating a shield-based cat logo.

The jersey and secondary logos are quite new, however. Florida’s new sweaters are simple, with alternating stripes of red and white with a golden accent along the edges. The secondary logo is Florida’s state flag with a panther crawling along the top of it.

Toronto was the last team to update their logo and jersey set, as they revealed their newest Maple Leaf back in February before their 50th anniversary.
