P.K. Subban made his return to the Nashville Predators’ lineup on Friday and got a rude welcome from the Edmonton Oilers, even if it wasn’t intentional.
P.K. Subban gets clipped in the head by a strafing Oilers elbow
Subban is having a rough month.

Subban, who has missed most of the last month with a lingering back injury, was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when trying to make a play on the puck in his own end. As Subban gathered the puck in the second period and started to turn, Oilers center Matt Hendricks caught him in the head with a strafing elbow.
It wasn’t entirely clear if Hendricks’s elbow was intentional or not since he looked like he was making a play for the puck. And in that case, his elbow would certainly be raised a bit. But we’ll never know.
Subban remained in the game. Meanwhile, Cody McLeod took the pause in play to get some revenge on Oilers winger Milan Lucic.
That was in response to Lucic roughing up Predators defenseman Yannick Weber earlier.
Everyone’s getting along well! Nothing to see here!
