We never thought we’d see the day, but Robin Lehner might have just one-upped Carey Price. Montreal fans were given a treat late in a tied hockey game between the Sabres and Canadiens.
The Canadiens and Sabres traded incredible glove saves within moments of each other
Carey Price and Robin Lehner are something else.

With the game destined for overtime, Price made one of his signature ten-bell saves with six seconds to play in the third period.
Why yes, that is Price doing the splits and going almost 90 degrees to snag the puck out of the air on a stellar glove stop.
But then! As the game progressed into overtime, Lehner countered with a hell of a stop of his own. Screened by his own defenseman, Lehner was able to anticipate the Canadiens’ shot on goal and stopped it almost by magic.
Because of that save, the Sabres went on to win the game 3-2 in overtime. Yet because of Price’s save, we were treated to that show in the first place. What a finish in Montreal.
