The main event of the NHL’s All-Star weekend is upon us! After a skills competition highlighted by a small child and a 200-foot goal from a goaltender, the league’s best will play with $1 million on the line.
NHL All-Star Game 2017: Time, TV schedule, format for Sunday
The league’s best players will be on display in a riveting format.

The format is the same as last year. The games will be played three-on-three, like the current overtime rules, and last 20 minutes each. At the 10 minute mark, the teams will change sides and if there’s a tie after regulation, the game will go to a shootout.
Because the Atlantic won Saturday night’s skills competition, they had the choice of picking their time slot and opponent, the Metropolitan Division in the later time slot.
The All-Star Tournament will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT. You can watch the event on NBC in the U.S. and on CBC, Sportsnet, and TVA Sports in Canada. Live streams will be hosted at NBCSN.com and CBC.com.
