It’s been awhile since we heard from Canada’s other hockey darling. Connor McDavid, of course, is always waiting for his next chance to strike, and on Thursday he lit the hockey world aflame again.
Connor McDavid absolutely disrespected the Blackhawks’ defense with this spin-o-rama assist
McDavid from his office is so, so lethal.

Late in the first period against the Chicago Blackhawks, McDavid torched the opposing defense with an out of this world spin-o-rama pass across the crease to eventual goal scorer Patrick Maroon.
How McDavid makes these types of plays look so effortless is likely a wonder many will have after watching this goal. And the Blackhawks defenders there were no slouches, as McDavid used the back of star veteran defender Duncan Keith to catapult himself around before slinging the puck to Maroon for the goal.
That play wasn’t McDavid showing off either, as the forward was using his body to protect the puck from the defenders all the while skating backwards.
All in a typical night’s work for McDavid, it seems.
