What a game Travis Konecny is having for the Flyers. He’s got a pair of goals — one of which we’ll get to in a second — and for all his trouble, was rewarded with a stick in the face.
A bloody mouth didn’t keep Travis Konecny from scoring a stellar goal for the Flyers
What a night for Philadelphia’s rookie forward.

That stick to the face, courtesy of Seth Jones, gave Konecny quite the bloody mouth and put the Flyers on a power play in the second period.
Philadelphia wasn’t able to do anything on the power play, but Konecny made the Blue Jackets pay moments after it expired with quite the snipe.
Oh, and check out his mouth after.

Yeah, that’s a mouth full of blood, still! And what moves Konecny put through the Blue Jackets’ defense, as he circled from one end of the zone to the other before going high on Sergei Bobrovsky.
Konecny almost got his first career hat trick at the end of the second period, but was denied thanks to the net getting knocked off its moorings. Quite the evening.
