Jeff Skinner is pretty good, methinks. In a high-scoring tilt between the Hurricanes and the Islanders, the 24-year-old piled onto Carolina’s lead thanks to this incredible penalty shot goal that made it 7-4 in the second period.
Jeff Skinner deked Thomas Greiss out of his goalie pads on a filthy penalty shot goal
This kid’s got hands.

Skinner was taken down on a breakaway by Dennis Seidenberg and was rewarded the subsequent penalty shot. His hand movements are so fast that Thomas Greiss could only slide around and watch as the Hurricanes’ forward extended their lead.
The deke even confused the person behind the camera here, as even they had trouble following Skinner’s moves.
Freaky dekey on the penalty shot.
