Oilers’ forward scores midair goal over the shoulder of Tuukka Rask
Talk about a chip shot from Anton Slepyshev.
At the end of a busy first period against the Bruins, the Oilers’ forward took a McDavid rebound and knocked it out of midair for an incredible goal.
McDavid’s shot went off the pads of Tuukka Rask before Slepyshev got the blade of his stick on the airborne puck, sending it up and over the shoulder of Rask.
Slepyshev was already in great position to put in a rebound, so tapping the puck up and over Rask was seemingly no trouble.
All in the wrist.
