It seems as if we can’t go a day without Sidney Crosby or Connor McDavid turning the hockey world on its head. On Tuesday, Crosby put on a show with a one-handed backhander.
Connor McDavid pulls the string on incredible backhanded goal
The goal is McDavid’s 26th of the year. And what a beauty it is.
A day later, McDavid has his own backhanded magic. With the Oilers visiting the Anaheim Ducks in an exciting first period, Edmonton’s captain got them back on top with this gem.
Not to be overlooked is Leon Draisaitl’s stretch pass that sprung McDavid behind the Ducks’ defense.
Even so, McDavid held off the lone Anaheim defender with ease before pulling the string on Jonathan Bernier with a backhand finish.
And he makes it look so easy. No wonder people are arguing whether McDavid or Crosby deserves the Hart Trophy this year.
