Edmonton faces a big Game 2 with the series headed back to San Jose on Sunday.

Edmonton took an early 2-0 lead over the San Jose Sharks, but defensive lapses against a veteran team allowed San Jose to ultimately take the series opener by a score of 3-2 in overtime on Wednesday night in Edmonton.
Now that the young Oilers have a taste of playoff action, the nerves will likely settle as they look to finish their home stretch of the series with a 1-1 split.
While the Sharks climbed back to win, Joe Thornton is still a big question mark for San Jose. They were able to best the Oilers on Wednesday without one of their better offensive weapons, but Edmonton likely will put up a fight in Game 2 before the series swings south.
The Oilers were 25-12-4 at home during the regular season.
