The Toronto Maple Leafs aren’t making this easy for the Washington Capitals.
Capitals vs. Maple Leafs 2017 live stream: Start time, TV schedule, radio, and how to watch NHL playoffs online

The third-youngest playoff team in the NHL this season (behind Edmonton and Columbus) took the league-best Capitals to overtime in both Game 1 and Game 2. Only a fluky Tom Wilson goal kept them from approaching a 2-0 series lead. As it stands, the Leafs return home with a series split and a chance to put the Capitals further on their heels.
But their depth is taking a hit. Nikita Zaitsev hasn’t played all series, and now Roman Polak will miss the rest of the season after a Game 2 injury. Matt Hunwick, Jake Gardiner, and Morgan Rielly are already eating up a ton of minutes on the blue line. Alexey Marchenko could play his first game since March 25.
Meanwhile, Washington coach Barry Trotz indicated he could change things for his team ahead of Game 3. He didn’t indicate what those changes were, though.
