Monday night held a lot of blown leads, but the Senators really stole the show by allowing a three-goal comeback to the Bruins.
Senators vs. Bruins: Healthier defense a much-needed boost for Boston in Game 4
The Bruins will get back Colin Miller on Wednesday, but will it be enough?

Fortunately for them, the Senators rebounded to take the 2-1 series lead in overtime, but not without instilling doubt about this team’s ability to hold leads. For Boston, the ending of the game stuck in many a craw, but the Bruins aren’t out of this series by any stretch.
What we learned in Game 3
The Bruins are more banged up than we realized. A handful of people working on this site predicted Boston would have an easy time with a sinking Senators team. Instead, the Bruins have had a hard time because more than half of their defense has been crippled by the injury bug. Colin Miller does look to be back for Wednesday, but Adam McQuaid and Torey Krug are still out of commission.
Key player in Game 4
Craig Anderson. The Senators goaltender had a bit of a rough time with the Bruins in Game 3, as he allowed three goals in the second period in Boston’s comeback. His .892 save percentage in three games is a bit concerning, but he’s a historically solid netminder in the playoffs and will very likely bounce back.
What will decide Wednesday night’s game?
A better start for Boston. The Bruins can’t afford to come out flat again for a second straight game, so don’t be surprised if they get an early goal to put the Senators back on their heels.
Who takes home Game 4?
The Bruins. The defense will be better with Miller back in the lineup. Boston just barely avoids an elimination game in Ottawa on Friday.
