Tom Wilson, of all players, has been one of the Capitals’ most effective players in their series against the Maple Leafs.
Tom Wilson saves a goal for the Capitals then scores one 15 seconds later
Talk about being in the right place at the right time ... twice!

He had the game-winner in Game 1, then in Game 4 he had maybe the best sequence of his professional career. With Toronto pressing, a seemingly harmless shot trickled through Braden Holtby and was spinning toward the goal line. Wilson then dove across behind Holtby to stick the puck out of harm’s way.
Then, on a rush at the other end seconds later, Wilson deflected a Lars Eller shot to put the Capitals up 3-1.
Had Wilson not dove behind Holtby, the Maple Leafs would have tied the game. Instead, Wilson gave the Capitals their two-goal lead back and then some, as he scored the 4-1 goal with time winding down in the first period.
