With Game 5 in Montreal looming on Thursday, New York evened the series 2-2 after holding on to a 2-1 win. So far, the series has been tightly contested, as both the Canadiens and Rangers have made adjustments.
New York put up more shots on Carey Price in Game 4 and it worked, as the Rangers got just enough offensive production to take home a victory. Rick Nash got his second goal of the postseason for the Rangers’ second period game winner.
As Game 5 approaches, it seems as if the last team to blink will win this series. It’s a best of three now, after all.
