It might not happen on Thursday, but the Predators have the Blackhawks hanging by a thread. Pekka Rinne has shut the door with 95 total saves on 97 shots in this series, while Nashville’s defense has slowed the Blackhawks’ biggest stars.
Chicago had a taste of scoring in a Game 3 loss, but insufficient defense down the stretch did the Blackhawks in.
Their veteran experience will come in handy on Thursday as they look to fend off elimination, and they’ll need all the help they can get against a dominant Predators team.
