When Toronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri laid out Washington Capitals center Alex Ovechkin in Game 5, we figured that’d be the last we saw of either of them.

Hah. NOPE.
Kadri escaped an ejection and Ovechkin returned for the second period. At this point you usually just leave retribution up to your teammates, but Ovechkin isn’t your usual hockey player.
Even if a ref was watching that, there’s no doubt they just pretended nothing happened. As far as hockey revenge goes, that’s about as fair and tame and not overly dangerous as it gets. Take it and run. Back to actual hockey, then!
Never mind. Before we could even finish this post, Ovechkin went after Kadri again.
