The first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs are rapidly coming to a close. With the way Saturday shook out, only two series remain undecided in a surprising first round.
NHL playoff schedule 2017: Capitals, Senators can advance with wins on Sunday
We’re nearing the end of Round 1.

Leading off Sunday’s slate of games is the Bruins and Senators. After a thrilling double overtime victory in Ottawa, the Bruins have the chance to even their series at home to send this Eastern Conference matchup to a Game 7. The Senators allowed a two-goal comeback on Friday and would likely revel the chance to send the Bruins packing on home ice.
Meanwhile, the Capitals and Maple Leafs will likely head to overtime in their Game 6 match in Toronto. Washington came away victorious in Game 5 in overtime for the 3-2 series lead, but the Maple Leafs haven’t been anything short of resilient in this series.
Should be some good hockey to end a very good week of NHL playoff goodness. Strap in, folks.
