They’ll need to be that way in Game 6, as the Capitals have the chance to eliminate Toronto on home ice on Sunday. The Maple Leafs have been playing with house money in the playoffs, and now it’s time to see if they can go toe-to-toe once more with the league’s best team.
But of course, on the other end is a Capitals team lead by Mr. Not Just Game 7 Justin Williams, who had his third goal — and the game winner — on Friday in overtime.
Oh, and will there be carry over from the animosity that sparked from Nazem Kadri’s hit on Alex Ovechkin? Anything goes in an elimination game it seems.
