The winner of the Rangers vs. Senators series is going to have one incredible mountain to climb, considering what’s waiting on the other side. Even still, this matchup of a Metropolitan Division wild card and the Atlantic Division’s second seed has some solid star power on its own.
Rangers vs. Senators 2017: Start time, TV channel, and how to watch Game 1 online
New York visits Ottawa for the first game of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Henrik Lundqvist returned to his usual postseason form in New York’s first-round series. His .947 save percentage was the third highest of goaltenders to advance to the second round, and he looked quite unbeatable against Montreal.
On the other side is Erik Karlsson (and his fractured foot) who led the Senators to a round one win. Ottawa’s defense stifled the potent Boston attack, and the Senators will have to be on their toes to counter the Rangers’ breakout style of play.
