A lot of credit here goes to Matt Murray, who was able to stop Sissons’ breakaway attempt with his glove.
Sissons will likely look at that replay and wonder why he didn’t elevate the puck more, as he had Murray down on the ice with the top of the net open.
The stop, however, was quite a huge moment. Though the ice had been tilting to the Predators’ side, Murray has been as solid as he’s looked all Stanley Cup Final.
