Frederick Gaudreau scored earlier in the playoffs, but his goal in Game 3 on Saturday was monumental, giving the Predators a 2-1 lead and sending the home crowd into a frenzy.
That included actress Nicole Kidman and country star husband Keith Urban, apparently.
Maybe Nicole or Keith will trade in their personalized jerseys for a Freddie Gaudreau jersey now! Unlikely, but one can dream.
Gaudreau’s goal came at a big moment midway through the second period, seconds after Roman Josi tied the game. The Predators entered Game 3 down 2-0 in the series and hosting their first Stanley Cup Final game in franchise history. James Neal scored in the dying seconds of the period to stake Nashville to a 3-1 lead.
