The NHL has officially announced its rosters for the upcoming 2018 NHL-All Star Game in Tampa Bay, and among the names are some familiar faces and a few newcomers.
P.K. Subban, Steven Stamkos highlight 2018 NHL All-Star Game rosters
Four Lightning players highlight the star-studded tournament.

A total of 44 NHL players were chosen a week after the league closed the fan poll and announced the captains of each of the league’s four divisional teams. The format works the same as it has in years past, a three-on-three tournament set up between the NHL’s four divisions. Last season, the Metropolitan Division won with Wayne Simmonds as the All-Star Game MVP.
This year, Steven Stamkos, Connor McDavid, P.K. Subban, and Alex Ovechkin will captain the four teams. Alongside the four captains, hockey fans chose the coaches for each of the four teams, with Jon Cooper of the Tampa Bay Lightning (Atlantic), Peter Laviolette of the Nashville Predators (Central), Barry Trotz of the Washington Captials (Metropolitan), and Gerard Gallant of the Vegas Golden Knights (Pacific) leading the way.
The NHL’s 63rd All-Star Game will take place over the weekend of Jan. 28 at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay.
