The 2018 NHL All-Star Game is right around the corner, and with it comes roster announcements and jersey reveals. While your mileage may vary on the NHL’s decision of bright neon colors, what really gets most going is just who makes the NHL’s All-Star weekend.

We’re mere hours away from finding out which players will represent the NHL as the league’s best, but who’s to say that we here at SB Nation can’t put together a competent All-Star list? As such, we’ve taken on the mantle of giving you guys our picks for a 2018 All-Star Game team. This can’t possibly go wrong, right?

As a refresher, the NHL has some important rules for the selection process, which are as follows for the four-team event:

  • One player from each NHL team (31 now with Vegas) must be represented.
  • Each division (Metropolitan, Atlantic, Pacific, Central) has a captain, with six forwards, three defensemen, and two goaltenders each making the list.

And that’s it! Here are our picks for the upcoming 2018 NHL All-Star Game.
