The Minnesota Vikings shocked the world on Sunday with an incredible last-second game-winning touchdown at U.S. Bank Stadium. Just down the road in St. Paul, however, another sporting event was getting ready to take place. The world didn’t stop for the Minnesota Wild’s game against the Vancouver Canucks, but fans and a few hockey players were more than happy to see the Vikings prevail.
This Minnesota-native Canucks forward was amped up on the bench after the Vikings playoff win
Brock Boeser is one happy Minnesotan.

One such player is Minnesota-native Brock Boeser, who currently plays with one of the NHL’s Canadian teams, the Canucks. However, it seems Minnesota pride still remains strong with Boeser, as the forward was more than excited upon learning of the Vikings’ win mid-game.
You don’t often get to see things like this during sporting events, but Boeser’s reaction is a pretty cool moment in the middle of an unrelated hockey game.
Of course, Minnesota fans at the game were more than pumped to learn that their team would be advancing to the NFC Championship game. And you can even see Boeser on the Canucks bench reacting at the very end of the video.
Wild players, such as Minneapolis native Zach Parise, were pretty jazzed about the victory, according to NHL.com:
“Yeah, we were heard that. That was pretty cool,” forward Zach Parise, a native of Minneapolis, said. “Kind of assumed that there was a big play that was made. I mean, we didn’t really know. Yeah, that was, that was awesome.”
Parise also wore a Vikings hat in between periods to celebrate the victory.
Sports really bring people together in the most incredible ways.
