World’s best ‘NHL ‘94’ player showcased his skills on the New Jersey Devils’ jumbotron

And Ken Daneyko was his opponent!

By all accounts, NHL ‘94 is the best hockey game of all time. It’s a game that’s over 23 years old now, but its 2D sprites and fun gameplay make it a replayable game, even in the modern age of video games.

Raphael Frydman, or KingRaph, is the world record holder for the largest margin of victory in NHL ‘94, and he lives in New Jersey. MSG took advantage of the situation to bring Frydman in to play NHL ‘94 on the big jumbotron at the Prudential Center alongside former Devils defenseman Ken Daneyko, who is a player in the game!

Daneyko is clearly less that pleased with his ratings in the game, but he more than makes up for it by beating Frydman in the match.

Let us also appreciate how good NHL ‘94 holds up on a giant jumbotron despite being a game from a bygone age. The nostalgia is very real, folks!
