Events
Fastest Skater
The simplest of all six competitions might be the most fun, with eight players timed for one full lap around the rink. The fastest time wins.
Premier Passer
Three skills are at play here — a breakout pass, with a skater getting up to 10 tries to successfully make three passes to a moving target; passes into four different mini nets; and directed passing to targets that light up every three seconds. Fastest time to complete the course wins.
Save Streak
All 36 skaters take their shots at the goalies in this competition in shootout formation, with goalies facing an opposing division. The longest streak of saves during the event wins.
Puck Control
For the shooters, this is the most involved competition, with three skills on display during this event — stickhandling a puck through 10 pucks in a straight line, controlling a puck through eight zig-zagged cones, and shooting a puck through gates. Fastest time to complete the course wins.
Hardest Shot
Four skaters get two shots with a puck 30 feet from the goal, with the highest recorded speed (by MPH) declared the winner. Only shots on goal are counted, and players can get an extra attempt for either a radar malfunction (on a goal) or a broken stick.
Accuracy Shooting
Each contestant tries to hit five different targets while positioned 25 feet from the goal, with each open target lit up for three seconds in random intervals. The winner will hit all five targets in the shortest time.
