Two home run kings known for hitting hundreds of baseballs long shots have turned into Hall of Fame long shots themselves.

Baseball writers begin voting for the Class of 2013 shortly and Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa – along with flame thrower Roger Clemens – headline the ballot’s new crop of first-time eligible players.
But sportsbooks say they are 10/1 longshots to be voted in on their first try.
Bovada posted Hall of Fame odds Thursday and it’s a 10/1 bet that either of those players – with numbers that would normally make them locks to be first-ballot additions to Cooperstown – will get a ticket this time.
Writers have been harsh to Steroid Era players, especially those accused or besmirched with using performance-enhancing drugs.
Bonds and Sosa, along with Mark McGwire, were the unquestioned home run kings of the era. Clemens defied age and logic by continuing to dominate well into 40s.
