A day after chastising the Royals as the worst bet in baseball (and they lost again at home), we praise the Los Angeles Dodgers for being the best bet in baseball.

The Dodgers continued their terrific play at home (7-0) with a win over Atlanta as -135 moneyline favorites. They are underdogs today, however, with vet Aaron Harang on the hill against Brave Mike Minor.
LA is +$895 on the season, meaning the total of profit you would have made by betting them every single game. Contrast that against the neighboring Angels who are -$974 thanks to Albert Pujols and the lame bat he brought with him from St. Louis. [MLB Money Standings]
And there are no big underdogs Tuesday either, with the +175 Mariners the biggest pup at Detroit. The Royals are 0-10 at home, but hit the road today for Cleveland where they are small underdogs.
A pair of winless Santanas start today (Johan for the Mets at home against Miami and Ervin for the Angels at Tampa Bay). Both are underdog Santanas as well.
