Kevin Durant has won two straight NBA scoring titles and will win a third unless Kobe Bryant scores 38 points Thursday night in Sacramento.
Kobe Bryant Scoring Title Odds: Books Favor ‘No’ Bet

Kobe says he doesn’t care, yet he will play in this meaningless game while other Laker starters will not. Oddsmakers believe him or maybe they just don’t believe he can score 38 points in what might be Sacramento’s final game in the city.
Whatever the case, oddsmakers at Bovada have set a -215 favorite price on the ‘no he won’t win the title’ bet, while placing a +185 underdog value on the ‘yes’ side of the Kobe Bryant odds menu.
Who believes egomaniac Kobe, with two scoring titles on his resume, doesn’t care that newby superstar Durant would pass him on that list?
KD scored 32 points in his final game of the year Wednesday, moving his average to 28.03 PPG.
Kobe has averaged 33.5 PPG in two games against the Kings this year and always seems to be over 30 PPG average against them.
The Lakers vs Kings matchup is intriguing for another reason, which also caught the attention of oddsmakers. Will the Kings really leave Sacramento amid all the relocation rumors?
Bovada doesn’t think so, as it set -140 favorite price on the ‘Kings will stay’ bet while offering +100 (even odds) on them relocating after the season.
