Week 8 college football opening lines: Florida State, Stanford favored in headliners

In a week when the SEC placed a record eight teams in the AP Top 25 poll, top-rated Alabama was laying four touchdowns at home to Arkansas. Missouri (rated 22nd) hosts No. 14 Florida, and they get three points at home at most sportsbooks. Auburn at Texas A&M is another Top 25 battle within SEC borders.

The Pac-12 sees a Top 25 clash, with No. 9 UCLA battling No. 13 Stanford, and No. Oregon is giving 38 points to the Washington State Cougars.

The week kicks off Tuesday in the Sun Belt with UL-Lafayette getting 4.5 points at Western Kentucky.
