The No. 2 Oregon Ducks are 9-2 straight up and 6-4-1 against the spread in their last 11 games against the No. 12 UCLA Bruins. Hosting the Bruins this Saturday at Autzen Stadium, the Ducks were a 22.5-point favorite at home, with one book tracked by OddsShark.com pushing the spread to 24 points as of Thursday.

The Ducks finally failed to cover a spread last week, defeating the Washington State Cougars by only 24 points in a 62-38 shootout. With the win, Oregon improved to 7-0 on the season with a 6-1 ATS record to go along with it.

Marcus Mariota continues to stand out as the Heisman frontrunner, leading the Ducks to an offensive output of 57.6 points per game and 643 total yards per game. Small wonder the OddsShark computer is predicting a whopping 58-30 result in favor of the home side.

UCLA kicked off the season with a 5-0 SU and ATS start, but came crashing back down to earth last week in a 24-10 loss to Stanford. Just one week removed from a 410-yard passing day, quarterback Brett Hundley had his worst game of the season, passing for just 192 yards and looking out of sync for most of the afternoon.

Needless to say, going up against Oregon’s near-perfect offense at home, Hundley and the Bruins are going to need to be clicking on all cylinders to keep up.

The total has gone UNDER in four of Oregon’s last six games against the Bruins. The total has also gone UNDER in each of the Bruins’ last three games. This Saturday night’s total is currently set at 70.5 points.

UCLA’s defense has played well this season, but in its last two games against the Ducks the Bruins have allowed 54.5 points per game. Oregon’s offense is such a well-oiled machine this season that it is hard to see the Ducks failing to score into at least the high 40’s at home.

Oregon’s defense had an off-week last week, but it should be able to get back on track this week against the Bruins to help the team improve to 7-1 ATS on the season.

PICK: Oregon -22.5 | Computer Prediction: 58-30 Oregon
