Known more for their tight defense in years past, this year’s Stanford team is averaging 41.25 points per game, all while allowing just 19.5 points per game.
The Cardinal face a tough stretch of games in the coming weeks, with this home game against Washington, a trip to Utah, and then a return home for UCLA.
Washington started the season off with a surprising 38-6 blowout win over the Boise State Broncos and hasn’t looked back since. Averaging 39.75 points per game on offense with over 285 rushing yards and 285 passing yards per game, the Huskies have been a well-oiled machine; all while allowing just 10.75 points per game on defense.
