That makes Boston a solid underdog bet in the neighborhood of +120.
“It will be good value because the Bruins are perfect on the road so far and they visit Pittsburgh, which just snapped a three-game losing skid,” said Jack Randall of OddsShark.com. It will be the first time this season the Bruins are underdogs.
The Penguins are mired in a 1-for-16 slump on the power play, but they may get a break against the Bruins, who gave up four PP goals to the Devils this week.
Loui Eriksson remains out for the Bruins, while Pittsburgh is without James Neal and unheralded blueliner Rob Scuderi.
