NLDS odds favor Cards, Dodgers; ALDS odds favor Tigers, Red Sox Friday

NLDS and ALDS wagering moves into full swing Friday with all eight teams in action and the betting lines split between home and road favorites.

Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay are road underdogs at St. Louis and Boston respectively, with Matt Moore a tempting dog play for the Rays.

Meanwhile, Oakland and Atlanta opened Friday as small home dogs to Detroit and Los Angeles respectively. Betting against Tiger ace Max Scherzer has been a money-losing gig all season, but Oakland sends 18-game winner Bart Colon against him.

That pair met twice this year with each team winning once. The Tigers have lost three of Scherzer’s past five road starts, according to the OddsShark.com MLB pitcher database.
