NFL, Week 6 opening lines: 4 huge spreads, 3 pick ‘em games

Week 6 six sees the biggest point spread in NFL history and huge double-digit spreads facing the 49ers and Seahawks.

After the shock of the 28-point spread in the Broncos-Jaguars game fades, the competitiveness of three other games shines through as cool wagering opportunities.

Philadelphia at Tampa, Pittsburgh at the Jets and the Monday Nighter where the Colts visit San Diego are all pickems - basically a coin toss for the oddsmaker.

The Giants could also end up as a double-digit underdog in Chicago, as that spread opened at 9.5 points. Kansas City also lays 10 points at home to Oakland and the Titans are +14.5 at Seattle and the Cardinals open at +12.5 at San Francisco.

A few intriguing trends stand out in Week 6. The Chargers have thoroughly dominated the Colts over the years and are 6-1 ATS in seven recent meetings.

And the aforementioned KC-Oakland game has a perfect 7-0 ATS trend for the Raiders (they have covered the spread each of the past seven seasons at Arrowhead).
