Broncos vs. Patriots 2013, Week 12: Betting odds, trends & pick
Broncos favored in New England despite weather in Foxboro.

Peyton Manning has a losing record against the Patriots and a worse one when asked to play at Foxboro, but the future Hall of Fame quarterback is favored to turn the tide at home.
Denver enter Sunday Night Football as 2.5 point favorites, with Bovada still offering a three point edge. The Broncos hold an impressive 9-1 overall record, but are significantly less reliable against the spread -- holding a 6-4 season record. It's hard to have too much confidence in either team, with New England going 5-5 against the spread in 2013.
Weather at Gillette Stadium could be a wild card. There wont be snow in Foxboro, but it will be extremely cold and windy. This could lessen the potency of both sides' passing attack. As a result New England might run the ball more, which would result in more of a clock control game and potentially a lower score. That said, both quarterbacks have enough arm strength to fight through the wind and Tom Brady is no stranger to the conditions at Foxboro.
The over/under might be the way to go this week. It’s currently set a 54.5, and both teams boast high-powered offenses. Denver is averaging almost 40 points per game, and the Patriots aren’t far behind at 25.5 points. Neither team is reliable against the spread, but Denver holds a 8-2 over/under record this season.
Denver is one of the league's best teams, and New England is coming off a disappointing loss to Carolina on Monday Night Football. There's a lot to prove for both organizations, but it's unclear if the Patriots have what it takes to stop the varied and dangerous Broncos offense -- or if they can contain former teammate Wes Welker.
