Jimmy V Classic betting: Florida Gators vs Memphis Tigers odds

The Florida Gators are off to a 7-2 SU and 4-1-1 ATS start to the 2013 season, and they’ll square off against the Memphis Tigers on Tuesday night in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Memphis is 7-1 SU and 4-2 ATS so far this season.

Both teams have played in low-scoring games in 2013 with the Tigers going 1-4 on the UNDER this season and the Gators going 1-5 on the UNDER. The Florida vs. Memphis game is the second game of a double-header in the Jimmy V Classic, with the first game taking place between the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Cincinnati Bearcats.

On Thursday night for fans who bet on college basketball, Madison Square Garden will host the Carquest Auto Parts Classic between the Duke Blue Devils and the UCLA Bruins. UCLA is off to a respectable 9-1 SU and 6-3 ATS start, but that includes a 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS start in games in which the Bruins were favored by 10 points or more.

When favored by nine or less, the Bruins are 0-2 ATS. Duke is 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS so far.

Wrapping up the week’s college basketball action at Madison Square Garden is the Gotham Classic between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday. Ohio State is still undefeated with a 10-0 SU and 5-4 ATS record including a 4-1 ATS record over its last five games, while Notre Dame has struggled early with an 8-3 SU and 3-5-1 ATS mark.

Out in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, the Oklahoma State Cowboys face off against the Colorado Buffaloes. Oklahoma State ranks seventh in the nation in scoring offense with 88.4 points per game and is 9-1 SU and 4-3 ATS on the season.

Colorado is off to a great start with a 10-1 SU and 7-3 ATS record, holding opponents to just 65.4 points per game, according to the college basketball odds database at OddsShark.com.

Michigan State is 8-1 SU this season but just 2-5-1 ATS. The Spartans will face an interesting road test this Saturday when they visit the Texas Longhorns, who are 9-1 SU and 5-2 ATS.
