NBA betting odds: Profitable Trail Blazers in action vs Pacers, Thunder

Portland has a tough challenge beating the NBA odds and continuing their profitable run of against the spread success this week.

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Trail Blazers have been one of the NBA’s most consistent money makers this season, climbing up to second place in the Western Conference standings with a 14-3 SU and 12-5 ATS record.

They face two of the NBA’s best early this week hosting Indiana on Monday and Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

The Indiana Pacers have been the league’s best team both straight up and against the spread early in the year with a 16-1 SU and 13-4 ATS record. Indiana faced a tough road test Sunday night in a 105-100 win over the LA Clippers, and will look to do the same Monday night as a 1.5-point road NBA betting odds favorite at Portland.

Portland has had no success against Oklahoma City in recent years. The Thunder are a perfect 7-0 SU and 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven games against the Trail Blazers, according to the searchable NBA database at Odds Shark.

With just a 9-9 SU and 10-8 ATS record so far this season, the Atlanta Hawks have the third best record in the Eastern Conference. That record could take a hit this week as the Hawks visit the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night and then host the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.

San Antonio is an 11-point favorite Monday night over the Hawks. Los Angeles is 4-4 SU and 5-3 ATS on the road this season.

The matchup doesn’t pack quite the same punch with Derrick Rose out of the lineup, but Thursday night’s game between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls in Chicago should still be must-watch TV.

Miami has taken over firm control of this series recently with a 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS record in its last five games against the Bulls. The Heat are 10-0 SU and 7-3 against the NBA basketball odds over their last 10 games since getting off to their slow start of 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS.

The best in the West hosts the best in the East Saturday when the San Antonio Spurs take on the Indiana Pacers. Historically, this matchup has been no contest; San Antonio has won each of its last 11 games against the Pacers, with Indiana’s last win against San Antonio coming in April of 2007.
